The conveyor carriers (1,18) are located on a thrust frame in a housing (3) with vibratory reciprocal strokes. The carriers are so hinged to the thrust frame that the hinges permit only a limited rotary movement (6) of the carriers. The limited rotary movement results in collecting the material in front of the carriers during the forward stroke. The collected material is transported in the conveying direction (10). During the return stroke the hinged carriers avoid the material and the thrust frame returns to the starting position without material transport, followed by the forward stroke.
